Peggy and Sue, both nurses, began their company, Gentle Soles, after asking the Universe to guide them into work that was both fulfilling and that would make a difference to others. The answer came as Gentle Soles, a professional nursing foot care service that they began in 1999. Find out how they took a desperately needed service and turned it into a deeply spiritual and honorable profession – sitting at the foot of elders and caring for their feet. Today, they operate their mobile foot care service in Winslow, Arizona. They provide volunteer foot care for the Bread of Life Mission for the homeless in a nearby city. Peggy and Sue also care for the feet of the Catholic lay-sisters of Madonna House, whose calling is to minister to the poor, and people in their community.
