I’m leaving early tomorrow morning to spend 8 days in Ashland, Oregon, July 28th through August 4th. I met Jean two weeks ago in Orlando Florida when I was attending a Mega Book Marketing Event sponsored by Mark Victor Hansen (one of the co-author’s of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series).
The moment I heard Jean speak, I became mesmerized. Her words, actions and stories were captivating. If you haven’t heard of Jean before, you need to! I’m here in Orlando Florida attending Mark Victor Hansen’s Mega Book Marketing Event. In a pre-workshop event, Jean Houston was a featured speaker. I had heard of Jean before, but wasn’t at all familiar with her work. During the workshop I became mesmerized by Jean Houston. She has such an understanding of the connection that each person has to one another and to the planet - AND she is doing something about it. She has traveled to many countries, lived with many cultures and tribes and has insights and depth of knowledge that very few people achieve. I’m honored to meet her.

Today, they operate their mobile foot care service in Winslow, Arizona. They provide volunteer foot care for the Bread of Life Mission for the homeless in a nearby city. Peggy and Sue also care for the feet of the Catholic lay-sisters of Madonna House, whose calling is to minister to the poor, and people in their community.
