When Trying Harder Doesn’t Work

In my show today I talked about Focus and that in order to focus, you need to relax. Almost sounds like an oxymoron. Think of it as looking at one of those stereograms – 3D pictures that were popular in the ’90s. The harder you stared at a picture full of dots, the less you saw. When you relaxed your eyes and your body, a 3-D picture magically appears. If you’d like to try it, go to this website, http://www.eyetricks.com/3dstereo.htm.

Focus your attention on your breath so that your conscious mind stops thinking, and let the relaxation AND the picture appear!
