In today’s show I talk about stillness - how to let go of the need to “do” and simply “be” for a few minutes - or longer. In that stillness time, or meditation, you stop the chatter in your mind and can begin to listen to the quiet voice inside yourself. It’s that voice that helps you discover who you are, what you’re here for and how to move through your daily life.
If you give yourself just FIVE MINUTES a day to be still, to meditate, you will begin to feel much more relaxed, in control and alive. To help you begin your practice of meditation, I have created a simple CD of meditation music. Called “Got 30?” Music to Guide Your Meditation, it has 3 tracks. A 5-minute track, 15-minutes, and 30 minute track. Each begins with approximately 2 minutes of soft, relaxing music to help you begin your meditation and then fades away into 5, 15, or 30 minutes of silence. At the end of the designated time, the music gently brings you back from your meditative state. No need to watch the clock or set an alarm. The music does it for you! To purchase the CD for $9.95 plus s/h, simply click here. If you’d prefer to download the meditation music in MP3 format for your own player click here.

Willow,
I’d like to share a few thoughts running through my head at the moment …
1) I find it amazing that in the course of all the “stuff” speeding through our lives, we are always given what we need most. Your program this morning really fits that bill! My life has been getting faster paced and more chaotic with additional projects the past few months. I know if I went to the doctor right now, he’d be telling me I was burning the candle at both ends. I know that … I just need more wax! I think your program this morning gave me the answer where to find that extra wax.
2) I too have always looked at “meditation” as work, just as you mentioned earlier on your show (6/6). “Stillness” explains exactly what it is … and makes it easier to accomplish! I have the place and I just need to schedule a time (and it might help if I could convince the 4 dogs they need this time too!) More people need to schedule a “me first” time without feeling guilty about it and just do it!
Love ya and really appreciate the spiritual “kick in the backside”.
